What up guys, Sprink has been calling all the ‘vulnerable’ she knows and doing random supermarket runs for them so they can get what they need now before we go into full quazza (noted: ice cream was big on the lists).
Most of the oldies / OK BOOMERS haven’t been concerned because “You can’t stop me going to the pub” but once the pubs close and everyone HAS to stay inside, they’re gonna need more people around. Even if it is just via a text or a bunch of flowers on the door step.
So this is just a lil post to say: reach out now to your neighbours: particularly peeps w/ lil kids, oldies, special needs and anyone living alone.
Leave a note in their letter box, pack of pasta on their door stop or slug a jar of Vegemite over the fence.
Or do what we are doing in Collinghood and start a What’s App group with your street.
We are a community, not an economy, if we act like it from the start then we will all get through this in the end.
