Here’s the tea (lol good one @me)… NUTTEA just opened their flagship Aussie store (they’re the bebs behind bubble tea) and are bringing Melb their spesh nut-based mylky dranks which are good for the lactose intol… as well as the animals cos #veganTEA (save the turtles ew I mean cows who wtf milks a turtle). Think of these drinks like a McFrappe meets a nutty bubble that loves mother nature and come with instructions on how to conquer them.
Sprink’s Review Guy – aka ME – was on day 2 of a hangover with McDonalds on the way when the dranks arrived. I was trying the Ruby Black Tea and the Mango Fruit Tea…both with nut cream (lol they know their audience at least).
I read the instructions on top of the drink… which tbh felt excessive but def ~enhanced the experience~ espesh for someone who was in lockdown and had only one other thing to do on the calendar that week…. STEPS TO NUTTEA:
- taste the cream
- drink from the cup at a 45 degree angle
- stir the cream in
- drink it all via straw
But the TL;DR = TASTE, STIR, DRINK. Lemme be real tho. Je suis didn’t vibe. Enjoy? Sure. Would try again? No.
If you’re a bubble tea fanatic, this is probably totally your thang. Try out other flaves and let me know… I’d be hella keen to hear what the smoothies are like and someone pls try the chocolate nut cream and report back.
In summer, when it’s hotter than Cardi B’s hooo-eee outside def give the mango one a go but be warned it has lil chunks in it which rlyyyy wanted to touch that lil dangly thing that swing in the backa ma throat (get in line) (there isn’t a line).
You can visit NUTTEA in Melb Central BECAUSE SHOPS ARE OPEN NOW ERRYONE.
