Abacus @ 383 Chapel St, South Yaz.. or is it Prahran? IDK – hot dauym. I’ve been there twice in a week… The first day I went Eddie Misogynistic McGuire was in there, so we were off to a rocky start. But as I settled into the menu and had dat hella yas coffee, something in me started to change. I could feel it in me waters darl. Then I saw it: croquettes with speck & gruyere, brocccolini, chorizo oil, smoked almond butter, radish. I can’t begin to describe how good it was, but know that after typing it out I had to change my underpants. IT’S THAT GOOD. Try it. I’ll probably be in there on Saturday, Saturday afternoon, and probably Sunday morning. Oh PS they’re open for dinner and drinks Wed-Sun so yah.
