This is Alex. His lovely mum taught him to play the piano before she sadly died when he was 5yrs old so his memories of her are very few. He grew up with his bro and dad around the corner from his grandparents in Bundaberg doing things QLDers do (IDK? Drink beer? Bash people?) as well as every Saturday walking to the local shopping centre for a milkshake and donut. Oh what times he had. He moved to Brisbane for uni where he did 2 degrees and for fun, would write novellas by candlelight on a 40yr old typewriter, then onto Melb 4yrs ago cos he wanted to wear black. He is an architect, loves rock climbing (he can scale a wall just using his fingertips – bae is shredded), cooking quiche (which he eats 4 nights a week) and being friends with The Sprink.
Why were you so useless at The Numbers Game?
I participated while non-violently protesting about playing it.
You agreed, then spent whole time looking at a wall.
I was thinking about climbing it..? Look, I’m willing to do things, I’m just not talkative. And 80% of all communication is non-verbal…
What about the Three Second Hold?
It’s hard to look someone in the eyes. Turing away is a reflex.
How are you going to get a girlfriend?
I literally don’t know.
WE should get together?
Ok.
Two kids – boy then a girl?
Hyphenated last name. No middle name, to messy.
Deal.
