Disclaimer: y’all gonna need to get out of town for this one. And OHHHH BABY DO YOU KNOW WHAT THAT’S WORTH? OOH HEAVEN IS A PLACE ON EARTH. And that place is in Healesville.First and foremost.. it was my birthday so my main focus was to drink some seriously incredible wine and that is what I did. The kewlest thing was it was all served on tap (am I in the Faraway Tree?) and we could also see through behind the bar to the barrels which felt like sah rustic chic.
Secondly, the food was PHENOM. We had a pork pizza which was everything I could ever ask for and more, plus they have truffle fries on the menu so BRB while I eat my body weight because truffle is LIFE.
They’ve recently moved to their new location, and holy sweet baby Sir Carter and Rumi (ps that joke would have been much better if Beyonce didn’t insist on having twins) it is beautiful. Literally took my breath away when I walked in which LOL what an architecture loser but also YASS ARCHITECTURE. We also turned up at peak hour on a Sunday (with no booking – sue me) and they were accommodating AF. We sat at the bar, which was ideal because the hashtag hottie pouring liquids was giving us samples of all the wine until we found one we liked which wasn’t hard, ahem. Guys he was hot ok.
While you’re there try the moscato. They’re famous for it. I hate moscato usually, and I tried it. Capital F A B.
