Mamak @ 366 Lonsdale St, Citayyyy – Me and my uni gang were hungers and after mo shrugging, someone just said ‘home food’ so we walked a block and boom we are in line (or on-line if you were to Touch The Sky circa Kanye ’06) at a place that serves ‘the best roti’s in the southern hemisphere’. We go inside and discover it is BYO so a part of me dies because there wasn’t a glass of Pinot Gris served in a thick, awkward-to-hold wine glass that ~literally all~ Asian places seem to use. Then I looked at the menu and got more confused so turned pathetically to my cute Asian pals for assistance RE: the ordering cos IDK how to pronounce let alone choose. Rice, lamb, roti, peanut dish (hmm really not so scary) and ORDERING DONE but, dear Sprinkees, I sh*t you not, the food was out in FOUR MINUTES. It didn’t taste old, gross, or full of MSG, but phresh, yermmy, and oh my jesus so much food for so cheap. Five of us, a meal each, delish roti bread to share and it was TWENTY DOLLARS EACH.
Why are you still reading?? I just told you it was $20 each for HEAPS of amazing food.
Omfg stop reading and go get dinner you freak.
