Shakespeare meets Pitch Perfect in this legit LOL worthy show. Housemate Han and I trekked all the way to Malvern (tbh had no idea where Malv Dog was pre-this) and pulled up a patch of grass next to a family who in lieu of standard drinking vessels chose to bring Panadol Osteo Arthritis branded water pouches… hashtag WHERE AM I. Side note: why do rich people in the ‘burbs do the strangest things?? Be poor and afraid of stepping on a needle like the rest of us Richmond hoes.
When I reviewed Melb Shakespeare Co. in December, I wasn’t familiar with their work but gave a shoutout to Emma Austin who made me actually wee myself a little because she is a Comedy Kween, and SISTA HAS DONE IT AGAIN. Like legit. @Emma lets be friends. Follow me on Insta. Other cast shoutouts include Annabel Tudor for the Rosalind realness, Joanna Halliday for making Celia the sassiest sis on stage, Sarah Krndija for not being afraid to belt out a LIZZO SONG, and finally Jackson Head and Daniel Nixon for thirst trapping me HARD.
Only downside? John Vizcay-Wilson who I got hella horn for last time wasn’t in this show.
But whatevs. I’m OK without a man.
