Pureed goodness is not just for babies and old peeps
Oh-em-gee who would have thought a stick/hand blender (or immersion blender, if ya’ fancy) could ever change your life?
- Gather all the veggies in your crisper that you were meant to eat 6 days ago
- Roast the all the veggies. Or if you are lazy like me you can skip this step and say it is part of a ‘raw movement’
- Throw the caramelised goodness into some stock – any stock (that’s why I love making soup ‘cos there are no rules AT ALL – you can do as you please).
- Whizz the shizz out of your soup with your stick blender
- Voila, you’ve achieved something in life and made soup like yo mumma! And you’ve lived a sustainable life cos you didn’t throw out your veggies (well done, hipster scum).
Did I convince you? Get into it – winter is ending in LESS THAN FOUR WEEKS and we can go back to eating solids again.
My pic is last nights dinner – roasted pumpkin and carrots with lots of garlic – no dates allowed. Not even hot French men. Ok that isn’t true. You can date as many of those as you like.
